Muffensausen (2026)

Jemima has seen something really, really scary backstage!
But when she tries to explain it to Tamara and Léo, they just don’t get it.
Was it a hairy-legged spider? A big-toothed wolf? A monster with a thousand blinking eyes?
Or… was it just an emotion?
Determined to find out, the three friends set off on a wild adventure to recreate whatever it was Jemima saw — using their bodies, lights, shadows, costumes, props, and anything they can get their hands on backstage.

But how can you bring a feeling to life?

Through their playful experiments, they explore their ever-changing emotions and where those feelings live—both in their bodies and on stage. Fear, joy, anger, loneliness, excitement… By expressing what’s inside, they slowly transform the outside. As their imaginations run wild, the stage becomes a living, breathing playground. And bit by bit, what once felt scary starts to feel… not so scary after all.

Muffensausen (Heebie-Jeebies) is a dance piece for ages 4 and up about emotions, imagination, and the magic of theatre. Three performers explore feelings in motion using a playful mix of dance, mime, object puppetry and shadow theatre. Through their creative experiments, they show how important it is to listen to your emotions and to give them the space they deserve — and how theatre can turn imagination into endless possibility.
